Ryan Jordan is an Educated Specialist with over twenty years of experience working with children and families as a teacher, nanny, and tutor. Ryan earned a multiple-subject teaching credential and Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. In addition to teaching, Ryan spent more than six years as a full-time professional nanny for celebrities and high-profile families in Los Angeles. Known for her positive attitude and Midwest work ethic, Ryan has been entrusted by many families to help find outstanding childcare.
Since opening, Educated Nannies earned the Red Tricycle Award for Most Awesome Agency in Los Angeles. Ryan was also featured in the Huffington Post for young entrepreneurs who inspire others, and she was nominated for the LA Business Journal’s Women Making a Difference Award.
Ryan’s passion for helping others and her ability to work with parents’ goals, understand a child’s needs, and offer suggestions based on her own experiences, has made her a valuable asset to many families. Her enthusiasm for learning, along with the joy of witnessing a child’s “Aha moment” continues to inspire her today. When she’s not collaborating with families, Ryan loves to travel with her husband, plan events, volunteer, host game nights, and paint with her toddler son.
Please meet our Placement Specialist Lindsey Dunn! Originally from a farm in Oregon, Lindsey has a great passion for the environment. Her love of the outdoors, combined with her passion for travel, led her to pursue a degree in Geography and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) from California State University, Northridge. She graduated cum laude, was the recipient of two scholarships and made the Dean’s List every semester. Upon graduation, she worked as a Cartographer making custom maps for clients all over the nation.
This mother of two beautiful girls has worked with children as a professional nanny in Los Angeles. She has also been a camp counselor, a teacher’s aid, and she’s volunteered with at-risk children of domestic violence.

Please meet our Recruitment Specialist Ashley Heath! Ashley majored in psychology at Baylor University and worked as a social worker for two years before transitioning to a recruitment position at a market research company. This bright and bubbly woman worked as a nanny for three years and continues to feel deep satisfaction from engaging with children. As a nanny, Ashley applied her psychology background and strong interest in child development to help the children she worked with process their emotions through play and conversation. Ashley has traveled to 14 countries, taught English in China, volunteered in Africa and has mentored at-risk youth. She moved to Los Angeles three years ago to exchange the grey skies of the Pacific Northwest for sunny Southern California.
